Today, a lot of things happened in the world of music. Here are some of them.
1. Moonrise Festival will begin selling early bird tickets this Thursday at 11AM EST. After a successful debut last summer, Steez Promo will once again put on the two-day festival (August 8th and 9th) at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, MD. You can check the official Moonrise Festival site for more information. Via Facebook
2. Last week Bristol-based glitch duo KOAN Sound announced their newest record, Forgotten Myths. Today they gave us a peek at the finished product, due out May 4 via OWSLA. It sounds every bit like another huge release for KOAN Sound; you can stream the six-minute preview here and decide for yourself. Via KOAN Sound
3. The Wonder Years have finished recording their fifth full-length album, according to guitarist/keyboardist Nick Steinborn. The follow-up to 2013’s The Greatest Generation, the as of yet unnamed LP is expected sometime this summer. In the meantime, you can catch the Philly-based pop-punk act at every stop of the Vans Warped Tour this summer. Via Alternative Press
That’s a wrap. Record is DONE. Now we just have a quick 38-hour drive home over a few days.

4. Andrew Bayer is currently (6PM EST) taking part in an AMA over on Reddit. The Anjunabeats-signed producer/DJ’s Do Androids Dream EP dropped last week, and he’s currently on tour in support of it. Head over to Reddit to join in the conversation.
