Ahead of their performance in the massive Sahara Tent at Coachella on Saturday, experimental alt-rock-meets-electronica duo Ratatat premiered a new track entitled “Cream on Chrome” via Youtube. The lead single from their upcoming fifth studio album, due out sometime in 2015 via XL, is a satisfying chillfunk tune with plenty of the varied instrumentation and subdued guitars fans of the Brooklyn-based act know well.
