News: Planes Mistaken For Stars Re-Release and Summer Tour
Last month, Deathwish, Inc. along with Brann Dailor, drummer of Mastodon, released a rather ominous and vague video that provided little insight other than the fact that it was regarding legendary early post-hardcore band, Planes Mistaken for Stars. There were rumors of a new project featuring members of the band, but nobody was really certain what was going on. Until today, that is.

Earlier this week, John Mayer covered the iconic song, “American Pie”, for the Late Show with Dave Letterman, and quite frankly, he did a fantastic job with it. It’s been a long while since we’ve heard any new music from John Mayer, and while it is apparently on the way, we still have to wait a bit longer.
