Preview: Feed Me Set To Sink His Teeth Into 9:30 Club

Sir Jon Gooch – aka Feed Me – is at it again. He recently released a new EP and just embarked on a North American tour, featuring a new spin on his self-designed “Teeth” production set-up. The Psychedelic Journey EP dropped just a few weeks ago, and he’s been working hard on the stage production, keeping fans updated via Facebook and Instagram every step of the way.
The updated production will take fans on a journey of its own, utilizing a special stage resembling Mr. Gooch’s alter ego. This production is not for the weak-hearted, and will take your mind on a trip without need for any of those questionable mind-altering substances.
The new EP features 4 fresh tunes written during the hiatus from touring Feed Me took last year. The EP represents, according to his SoundCloud, “in chronological and stylistic order: consideration, recuperation, awakening and transcendence. “Patience” is my frustration at having to stop, and a reflection on the past. “
Time For Myself” is a reconnection with my energy and humour. “Alarm Clock” is a stride into new territory and a reminder of why I love what I do. And “Without Gravity” is being comfortable in my skin again.”
I’ve personally been waiting patiently a long time for this man to come back around the DMV, and can’t contain my excitement to see him at the 9:30 Club on August 15th. The passion and creativity he exudes is rare and all-encompassing, flowing through his music, art, stage production, and even his social media feeds. Along for the ride is Delta Heavy. The duo will bring their uniquely multi-textured and bass-heavy sound all the way from London to compliment Feed Me’s equally ear-satisfying style.
