News: Grieves Announces Summer Tour

After a highly successful world tour in support of Winter and the Wolves, alt-hip-hopper and Rhymesayers regular Grieves is preparing to hit the road once more. The Out of the Rain Tour will begin May 19 and end June 25, making 26 stops along the way. Starting and ending in the Pacific Northwest (familiar stomping grounds for the Seattle native) Grieves will spend the time in between winding his way through the western half of the United States – sorry East Coasters.

It might get loud this summer: Chicago-based punk outfit Rise Against have announced a month-long headlining tour in continuing support of their seventh studio album The Black Market, beginning in their hometown on July 17 and concluding in Denver, CO in mid-August. They’re pulling no sonic punches, bringing metal rebels Killswitch Engage and letlive. along for the ride. The tour is scheduled to make 19 stops throughout the United States and Canada, including a July 29 appearance at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD.

Fresh off a slew of co-headlining dates with Saves The Day celebrating the 10th anniversary of their seminal pop-punk album “…Is A Real Boy,” Say Anything announced today their tour plans for the summer. The “Hebrews” tour will make stops in 31 cities over five weeks, including an early July date at Baltimore Soundstage. While billed as the official tour for the band’s fifth full-length Hebrews, the tour promises a “loud interpretation of Say Anything songs old and new,” and in true over-the-top Max Bemis fashion will feature both guitars and a four-piece string quartet.

After announcing the release of their seventh studio effort in November – The Order Of Things, due out February 25 via Razor & Tie – Massachusetts metalcore outfit All That Remains have revealed their touring plans for the early months of 2015. They’ll be heading out on the road with Swedish metal act In Flames. Opening duties will be handled by Wovenwar (a side project featuring members of As I Lay Dying and Oh, Sleeper).
